Halestorm frontwoman Elizabeth "Lzzy" Hale called the Coast Press from a tour stop in Flint, Mich., where she and her bandmates were opening for Seether. She said the recent multi-plantinum success of Evanescence (featuring vocalist Amy Lee) has made things easier for similar up-and-comers. "Amy Lee is the first female to be supported by rock radio in a long time," Hale said. "I think she's opening the doors for people like me."
